The stocks desk

The stocks desk is the equities room inside The Velvet Den, a trading community that runs on Discord. Names, levels and earnings get argued in the open on the free floor, and the analyst alert desks post position trades with full reasoning on the Elite floor.

How the desk trades

Position trading moves slowly on purpose. The desk cares about where a name is going over weeks, not minutes, so the conversation is levels, catalysts and patience.

  • Positions build over weeks. Adds are planned, not chased.
  • Catalysts are mapped ahead. Earnings and events sit on the calendar before the trade does.
  • Levels are argued before the open. A level nobody challenged is a level nobody trusts.

Who the stocks desk suits

The stocks desk suits a trader who would rather be early and patient than fast and busy. Positions run for weeks, so the work happens before the entry and the waiting happens after it.

  • People with a job during market hours, who can read a level before the open and check in later rather than watch every tick.
  • Traders moving from long term investing toward active positions, who want the reasoning written in plain sentences they can follow.
  • Anyone who wants to own shares outright, with no expiry clock running against the position.

What a member gets at the stocks desk

The room is free to read. The analyst alert desks, the data feed and the live sessions sit on the Elite floor.

On the free floor

  • The stocks room itself: names, levels and earnings argued in the open, every market day from pre-market to the close.
  • The Live Stage sessions, open to everyone in the server.
  • The community floor, where members compare reads between trades.

On the Elite floor

  • Stock calls from the analysts who sit at this desk, each with an entry range, scaled targets, a structural stop, a size note and the reasoning.
  • The market data feed in the server, including the breaking-news, halt-watch and divergence channels.
  • The WarRoom live sessions, where Elite works the tape together across the market day.
  • The weekly learning topic, and the post-mortem room where losses get written up for the whole table.
  • Every call tracked live on the Sinux Signals dashboard.

The full list is on the Inside Elite page, and the three Elite terms are on the pricing page.

How stock alerts work here

A stock alert at this desk is a position plan, written before the order goes in. It names the stock, gives an entry range rather than a single price, sets targets in stages and puts the stop below a level on the chart: the level that would prove the idea wrong.

The size note matters more at this cadence than anywhere else in the house. A position that runs for weeks is often built in pieces, a starter first, with any add planned in advance and tied to a level rather than to how the last few days felt.

Catalysts get mapped before the trade. A position held for weeks can sit through a company report or a scheduled economic release, so the reasoning says how the setup is expected to handle that event, and the stop says what happens if it does not.

Nothing posted is an instruction. Every alert is an analyst's own reasoning, published so members can test it against their own read before the open.

  • Ansh

    #ansh-alerts

0DTE options at the riskier end, held briefly, with swings and stock alongside

  • Saucy

Every seat, and every desk each analyst sits at, is on the long table.

Stock trading questions

What is a stock alerts Discord?

A stock alerts Discord is a chat server where analysts post equity trade ideas in real time, each with an entry range, targets, a stop and written reasoning. In The Velvet Den the stocks room is on the free floor; the analyst alert desks post on the Elite floor.

Is the stocks room free?

Yes. The stocks room sits on the free floor of The Velvet Den Discord: the levels, the discussion and the Live Stage sessions cost nothing. The Elite membership adds the analyst alert desks, the market-data feed and the WarRoom sessions.

What does a stock alert include?

Every alert carries five parts: an entry range rather than a single price, scaled targets, a structural stop set below a level, a size note, and the reasoning behind the trade. A call without its why does not get posted.

How long are stock positions held?

The stocks desk trades positions that run over weeks rather than days. Each alert sets its own plan: where the position starts, where any add belongs, where the targets sit and the level that ends the trade early.

Can I follow the stocks desk if I work during market hours?

The pace makes that easier than at the faster desks. Levels and plans are posted with their reasoning, so a member can read them before the open and review them later in the day. Any order you place is still your own decision and your own risk.

Who posts at the stocks desk?

The analysts who sit at the stocks desk are nDemik, Ansh and Saucy. Each posts in a style of their own, and every call carries its entry, targets, stop and reasoning. The full table is on the analysts page.

If the stocks desk is not your pace

Four rooms share one door, and all four are free to read.

  • The options desk trades the same kind of ideas through contracts, from 0DTE to weeklies, with risk defined at the fill.
  • The swing desk holds for days to a few weeks, with setups built to survive an overnight.
  • The day desk trades the session and goes flat by the bell, for traders who want nothing held overnight.

The alert desks behind all four rooms come with Elite. What each term costs is on the pricing page.

Trading carries a real risk of loss, and most people who trade lose money. Everything The Velvet Den publishes is educational and none of it is financial advice or a recommendation. Read the full risk notice.

Sit at this desk. It costs nothing.

The room is free and the door is open. The alert desks live on the Elite floor.
