The options desk
The options desk is the contracts room inside The Velvet Den, a trading community that runs on Discord. Strikes, flow and defined risk are the daily language, from 0DTE to weeklies, and every alert on the Elite floor carries its reasoning.
How the desk trades
Options move fast and punish vagueness, so the desk is strict about definition: which contract, what entry range, where the stop sits and why the trade exists at all.
- Contracts run 0DTE to weekly. Cadence is fast; the framing never is.
- Flow is read against the chart. Unusual activity means nothing without a level under it.
- Risk is defined before entry. Max loss is known at the fill, not discovered later.
- CALL
- $NVDA 190C · EXP AUG 21

- WHY
- “Reclaim of 185 with sector strength. The risk is the level, not a feeling.”

Asked at this desk
What is an options trading alerts server?
An options trading alerts server is a Discord community where analysts post contract trades as they take them: ticker, strike, expiry, entry range, targets, stop and reasoning. In The Velvet Den the options room is free to read; the alert desks are part of Elite.
Does the desk trade 0DTE?
The cadence runs from 0DTE to weekly contracts. Zero-days-to-expiry trades are the highest-risk end of options and are treated that way: defined risk, stated stops and reasoning on every call. Nothing on the desk is a signal to copy blindly.
What does an options alert include?
Seven parts: the underlying, the strike and direction, the expiry, an entry range for the premium, scaled targets, a stop, and the reasoning. Size guidance is framed as defined risk, never as a promise about outcomes.
