The day desk is the intraday room inside The Velvet Den, a trading community that runs on Discord. It trades the open, the close and everything liquid in between, and it goes flat by the bell: no overnight risk, ever.
How the desk trades
Intraday is the loudest room in the house and the strictest. Levels are set before the open, the first fifteen minutes are for reading rather than trading, and everything closes by the bell.

What is a day trading Discord?
A day trading Discord is a live chat room where traders read the market together during the session: pre-market levels, the open, and the closing hour. In The Velvet Den the day room is on the free floor and the analyst alert desks post on the Elite floor.
When is the room active?
Every market day, from pre-market preparation through the close. The busiest stretches are the first hour and power hour, and the desk goes flat by the bell, so nothing carries into the overnight session.
Is day trading risky?
Yes. Intraday trading is among the highest-risk styles there is: fast, leveraged by pace, and unforgiving of hesitation. The desk treats every session as education, states stops on every call, and nobody should risk money they cannot afford to lose.
