How to join The Velvet Den
Joining The Velvet Den takes one step: the Discord server is free and open. Elite takes three more: choose a term on Whop, connect Discord to Whop, and the Elite role applies automatically. The whole path, including the two places it commonly fails, is below.
The steps

Join the free Discord
discord.gg/velvetden · no card, no form beyond Discord itself. For the free floor, this is the only step there is. - Step 2.
Choose your Elite term on Whop
Monthly, quarterly or yearly, all on the pricing page. Checkout runs through Whop in USD. - Step 3.
Connect Discord to Whop
During checkout Whop asks to connect your Discord account. Approve it with the same account that sits in the server. - Step 4.
The Elite role applies
The role syncs automatically and the alert desks, the WarRoom, the data feed and the dashboard unlock. Nothing else to do.
Where this fails, and the fix
The Discord connection never happened.
Paying alone does not grant the role; the connection in step 3 is what does. Reconnect Discord from your Whop account settings and the role lands.
The wrong Discord account was authorised.
If the browser was already signed into another account, Whop connected that one and the role landed on the wrong profile. Switch Discord accounts, reconnect on Whop, then open create-a-ticket in the server if it still refuses.
